The built-in single track recorder can be expand to a full-fledged professional multi-track studio by adding the 8 track recorder plus master effects section (available as in-app purchase) to produce complete songs and compositions.
Each track features a record button, an insert effect (the amp and effects chain), volume, pan, solo and mute, plus 2 send effect controls for adding ambience and depth with selectable reverb, chorus and delay from the master effects section. The master effects section also features a 3-band parametric EQ and compressor for final sound tweaking and polishing. The “re-amping” functionality allows you to change the sound and tone of your recording, without having to re-record your performance.
You also have the ability to import audio directly into each track and the “bounce” feature lets you bounce all tracks down to one, thus freeing up track space, giving you unlimited recording ability.
* Learning and Practicing Tool with Speedtrainer
Now you can play along with songs or backing tracks by importing them directly from your iPod library in your device or from your computer. AmpliTube for iPad now also features our popular SpeedTrainer learning/practice feature which allows you to slow down or speed up the tempo of audio material (1/2 speed, or 2x speed) without affecting the pitch. A digital chromatic tuner and metronome are also included making AmpliTube the perfect practice/learning tool.
